Quick thread on the incredible night for #GOPWomen https://www.nytimes.com/2020/11/04/us/politics/republican-women-congress.html
“A woman won in nearly every district that Republicans had flipped by Wednesday, a striking statistic that bolstered the argument that conservative women could win competitive seats if they were able to make it through a primary to a general election.”
It was NOT just competitive seats where Republican women won. We grew our numbers in the safe Republican seats. These are the ones that matter longterm if we're going to keep and continue to grow the number of Republican women in the House (and Senate).
But they're right. Primaries can be tough for Republican women, especially in those safe seats. Women candidates face challenges that our male counterparts don’t. BUT there are advantages too. #GOPWomen need teams that understand both sides of the coin.
We @WPAi helped:
- Re-elect Republican women like @RepAnnWagner and @cathymcmorris
- Flip seats with incredible candidates like @stephaniebice
- And elect new conservative women in red seats like @Kat_Cammack and @DHarshbargerTN1 (To name just a few)

With a foundation of great data and a team that knows how to run women candidates, Republican women can win. Even and especially in tough primary fights.
