If you don't face your fears, fear holds you back.

Try to understand these fears to help you overcome them.

- THREAD -
Stepping out of our comfort zone always triggers fear, but we need to, to progress.

Fear is designed to keep us safe but we have developed phycological fears that are no threat to our survival, they are something we created in our own mind. We can excel if we overcome them.
Fear of rejection or fear of being hurt could be why you are not meeting new people, developing meaningful relationships or even building a network that helps advance your career.

It really helps to view your rejections as lessons for the future and learn.

Know your value.
Some people never try anything new out of fear of a negative evaluation from others, making them doubt themselves.

You don't need to prove anything, so don't worry what others think of you when you try.

Keep as much to yourself as you can until you can no longer be doubted.
Fear of uncertainty can also stop people from trying new things.

We can't always know exactly what's going to happen, we just need to believe its going to be good and take action to ensure that.

If you keep going you can't fail unless you quit.
Fear of being judged.

People will also judge, fearing this can force people to shy away from expressing themselves.

Do not be afraid of negative attention, every successful person gets it.

Don't underestimate your ability to handle it.
The world could have come so much further without the subconscious fear of change, it's why people say things like this:

"If it's not broke, don't fix it"
"We have always done it this way, we aren't changing now"

We are capable of so much more, the successful embrace change.
Do at least one thing you are afriad of every day! Get used to that feeling when you step out of your comfort zone and feel the rewards facing your fears brings you as you grow as a person.
