Again, I'm still seeing this misreported and the usual suspects passing around misinformation about this case.

(1) No GOP observers were prevented from watching ballot counting. https://twitter.com/gabrielmalor/status/1324378226446225409
(2) One GOP observer objected to being kept at the back of the room with full, unobstructed view of every station; he wants to be able to move w/in 6 ft of canvassers.
(3) The election board argues that the corralling is necessary to ensure that the election workers can move around w/ pandemic protections.
(4) The GOP observer says he should be able to inspect each ballot close enough to ascertain dates, signatures, and declarations. In other words w/in 6 ft.

(5) The election board says this is unnecessary bc observers can't challenge signatures or declarations anyway.
(6) Anyway, the current posture is we are awaiting action from the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.
Quick follow-up: some folks are asking me questions like "but what about this thing I saw on Twitter?" and "didn't Lewandowski say an observer got kicked out?"

I can only tell you what's in the actual legal filings, not what people are repeating without evidence on Twitter.
Also, and I know this is no fault of any of you, there are Trump campaign challenges going on in Michigan, Georgia, and Pennsylvania today.

So it's easy to get your wires crossed. Each lawsuit has a different set of factual circumstances and different claims.
Speaking of, it looks like the Michigan suit will be dismissed because counting is already finished. (This is just coming now, there's no written order yet.)

And Georgia court rejected the Trump camp's suit about allegedly late ballots for lack of evidence a little while ago.
Of course it's possible we will see appeals in Georgia or Michigan.

I'll let you know if we do.
One more thing to add about the Pennsylvania case. Some folks on Twitter say that GOP observers were being corralled while Dem observers were not.

That claim is not in the GOP suit, and I don't know where it came from. That wasn't the GOP observer's testimony bf lower court.
Note on the "small-ball" thing. For all TrumpWorld's denunciations at pressers, none of these lawsuits involve large numbers of votes. GA suit was over 53 ballots. MI suit wasn't even over ballots, it was about process. PA suit is similarly about process, not discounting ballots. https://twitter.com/joshgerstein/status/1324419424942608384
In other words, the litigation isn't likely to change any state outcomes. These lawsuits are window dressing for Trump to complain that the election is illegitimate, and that he has (as always) been the victim of an unfair life.
Alright, let nothing happen for an hour. I have to step out and interview a shiny new law grad as a potential hire. What kind of idiot would schedule an interview for this week?! (It was me. I'm the idiot.)
