I don't think atheists need to do a thread on why they don't believe in God or religion because it is very simple to understand why they reject belief systems. What we believe is something that we learn to do as we grow and experience many things. As a baby, you clearly lack the mental capacity to take a stance on something so you are neither a believer nor atheist. Now as you grow, you are exposed to a lot of things that shape you
And help you make a decision. Everyone does, others are intentional about it, others are not. That being said, now let's talk about atheists. To be an atheist is just to say, you don't believe in any of the religions or deities that are introduced to you by society.
Here, you take a stance. So even though you are not religious, it is your believe now that all those things are false. Now you have a belief in something or an idea.

Remember I mentioned earlier on that no one was born with a believe. One will then ask, how come we have so many religions or beliefs now. That is very simple and very understandable. Early humans as curious as they were experienced many things as they found themselves on earths
Sometimes I think about how the first man or woman thought of the world as they first saw it. One thing is clear though that observation and experimentation were key to how we see the world now and how far we've come and are yet to go. Some will call it science.

These and many more others were questions early humans had. Observation and experimentation answered some as time went by and others are still opened. This gave rise to the supernatural. It is just a term humans give to something they don't understand.

Just stories passed on it still hasn't been proven to be true by those who claim to believe in them. The new person without a belief then says, if you are not able to prove any of what you've said to me, then I don't believe you. This person is then termed an atheist.
The burden of proof is now on those who claim to believe in these things.if they can prove it, atheist will no longer exist.
