Allegheny County immediately issued a statement saying they were going to send out new ballots to these affected voters that had special markings on them to make them easier to segregate. They also made a note of all the affected voters in their system.
Even then, in Mid-October, same release, county said that all these votes will be looked at as part of the review board process.
"Those ballots will be set aside and reviewed as part of the Return Board process following the election. Only one ballot will be counted per voter."
