No less than 4 individuals have asked me this week about making a truce with the chuds.

Nobody this week has asked me to help with the growing divide between the Black left and the white left.

Last night, there were issues again.

Allies or accomplices? Let's figure it out.

First of all. I'm not in command of shit.

Second of all, I require no truce with the chuds. I am not at war with the chuds.

Third, diversity of tactics does not mean do the same thing every night, nor is it permission to impede on your comrades' actions with surprise acts.

I'm not sure who's informing some of you on the leftist principles you extol, but in an effort to understand, I grabbed a bunch of the zines that were available yesterday.

So far, I'm not finding justification for the absence of Black leadership and existence of tokenism.

Every successful movement requires alliances, so don't be ashamed if you're just an ALLY and not actually an ACCOMPLICE.

Be ashamed if you lied about it all summer and chanted "BLM" out of convenience instead of conviction.

And then use that shame as a catalyst to do better.

Now here's the kicker...

For the principled anti-fascist, the chud war IS THE WAR.

I fully understand that chuds=cops=feds BUT I also know that those are just ALLIANCES.

Those relationships are fragile. They're pushing back on progressives just as we push back on them.

So if Black people AROUND WHOM THIS MOVEMENT ROTATES have a goal of abolishing police and the anti-fascists have a goal of abolishing police, everything should be fine, right?

Wrong. Cuz so many white male allies struggle to follow.

White allies worry about Black men with guns being "heteronormatives subconsciously mimicking the police state" meanwhile all those chants promising to protect Black women went unfulfilled.

Performative AND Divisive. That's a twofer.

One more time:

Black Power means that Black people have the right to self-determination. We have the right to decide our future. Our future need not fit nearly in the respectability culture that white people have stolen our labor for centuries to create.

So an ALLY may not agree with how Black people choose to navigate our reality, but an ACCOMPLICE has the goal of clearing a path toward Black self-determination and thus LISTENS.

So last night. There were two marches apparently. One Black-organized, one was only Black-led.

At one point, they converged. There was some talk of merging and focusing on Black needs.

This was refused.
