the first week of november 2014 harry was making headlines on world news because of his comment “not that important” in an interview just after liam said “female, is a good trait” when they were asked what their favorite traits on ladies were.
on november 7th 2014 louis is seen attending x factor rehearsals wearing a rainbow apple logo shirt and looking very bright and happy
why is him wearing this shirt important? the context behind it was that tim cook, ceo of apple had just come out at the time. it was basically a kind gesture of support towards the lgbtq+ community, more specifically tim, hence the apple logo
on november 9th 2014 the morning of the 1DFOUR hangout interview with ben winston, the independent puts out the following article written by jenn selby
during the interview ben brings out the topic of rumors and asks if they had ever heard a rumor about themselves that really bothered them to which louis answered “i’m sure there is something but i can’t really think about it now”, implying no rumors bother him at the moment
important that in that same interview liam and louis starts whispering and talking about an article by independent. liam asks louis if he has seen the article, to which louis answers that he has seen it but i haven’t read it, to which liam says “you should, you’ll like it”
so as you can see, no issue with rumors, both louis and liam saw the article and liam had read it, louis still hadn’t :)
november 10th comes the “i am in fact *” tweet. almost odd right? the day before he seemed to have no problem with rumors and less that 24h later he is apparently mad over and article that simply talks about him as an ally and not once implies anything about his sexuality.

do you get why this is homophobic and invalidating to so many fans who are part of the community? why did he need to defend his “heterosexuality”? why did he need to point out he is “straight” in an article who talk about him being an ally? why does he act like is he OFFENDED?
there was nothing wrong with the article, the louis i know wouldn’t have lashed out against the author like he supposedly did. lots of celebs defended the author like for example clean bandit.. still think it was louis who tweeted it?
26th of november 2014, exactly 2 weeks later louis gets the dagger tattoo. this happened after larries had been very VERY vocal about how he was going to get it in order to match harry’s rose. almost odd? like he is responding to gay rumors by creating more gay rumors..
still think it was louis who tweeted it? our louis? who has always shown the most support out of the five boys during one direction to lgbtq+ tweeted that? are you sure we are referring to the same louis? this louis?

this tweet hurts me like hell, it makes me feel so disgusting and invalidated. i simply can’t believe the person who i love the most tweeted it. it’s such an illogical and aggressive response to something that is NOT offensive at all. please stop bringing it up. end of thread.
