@ross_video's new Carbonite #TouchDrive appears to have built in Dashboard , swipe gestures for source selection, and something called touchmap..
First off, @ross_video will continue to support Vision even though Acuity is the latest and greatest and was set to be sunset. Will be great for stadiums and control rooms still running it - looking at you #MileHighStadium!

#TouchDrive Memory naming enabled AND levels labeling in the new @Ross_video dashboard software...fantastic for local ME memory management..this is a huge step towards E-MEM sublevels on Grass Valley switchers. This will work for all Carbonite panels too
Glad to see bus selection getting an overhaul. @ross_video #DashBoard ME follows, bus linking, and aux delegation should be more logical than ever
wow... @ross_video #TouchDrive icons are now available to label buttons. Perhaps inspired by @elgato #StreamDeck. No Sony or Grass Valley mainstream switcher is doing this.
#Carbonite and #TouchDrive Button maps can now be saved. @NigelSpratling is so right, I cannot tell you how many engineers stress over TDs switching up button mapping. @ross_video
On @ross_video #TouchDrive, CC/macro attach seems to be essentially in play for both user select buttons and memory recall buttons (I think). It's a big deal because it is easy to run out of places to put all your transitions on the top level of the switcher. Now it's all there
Here it is! the Les inspired #TouchDrive global memory component. Seeing inclusions like this without having to map that ME to your MV or put something in PV to check it is super clutch.
Bringing #TouchDrive key parameters next to the transition area is going to make building boxes a lot easier. No more playing a grand piano to flip between keyers and size each one.
@ross_video #TouchDrive panels in full production and starting to ship next week (11/12/20), so you won't have to wait long to experience these new panels!
I really do like the flexibility of the @GrassValleyLive #Korona, which is a touch screen version of the #Kayenne and @ross_video #TouchDrive honestly improves upon that and packs a Kayenne punch. Here's to hoping @NEPBroadcasting and @GameCreekVideo are open to something new! ;)
Not sure who needs to hear this, but the @ross_video #TouchDrive release is a way bigger win for truck TDs than #CarboniteUltra. #Ultra is an engineering feat, #TouchDrive is an operational evolution.
