I was 16yrs old when my uncle gave N200k to my aunt to renovate my recently deceased dad's house where I and my siblings still lived..
She embezzled the money, knowing that family ties between brothers and sister would grant her immunity... Thankfully I wasn't her brother..
I got permission from my uncle to pursue the matter since I wasn't emotionally incapacitated. He said yes and I went round all my other uncles and aunts to report the agbaya who wanted to rob poor orphans like us...
The complete money came out, along with some curses which have still refused to land... 27yrs later.
It's why I don't build friendshios with people who don't align with my values and why I don't tolerate elders who rob children or use them to further their own selfish ends.
If you're such an elder you need to stop and think about your life... As you draw closer to your grave, think about how to make the world a better place and eschew bitterness ... All that bile won't help you or take you anywhere... Consider NOI.
