Democrats need to understand, better sooner than later, that normal politics are back. You are naturally in line to lose a lot of seats. Nominate anybody scary to the middle of the country, and you might lose the House.
To get where the democratic party is today, it had the help of Donald J Trump. That help will not be there in the midterms. Joe Biden should not do anything to terrify middle America. On the contrary, he should be all about nominating centrists, reassuring voters.
