A brief reminder that the future Montenegrin PM’s campaign HQ and his office were, up until a month ago, based in the “Serbian House” payed for and built by the Serbian government
Thread: We expect to hear soon who will be the new minsters. I will be commenting them here
Minister for capital investments is a former presidential candidate Mladen Bojanić who lost to Djukanović with huge margin in 2018.
Minister for ecology, urban planning and urbanism is Ratko Mitrović, a university professor and one of the main engineers who helped build the SOC biggest temple in Podgorica. He is the central figure on this fresco from the temple
Minister for public administration, media and digital society is Tamara Srzentić. The only person with this name I can find is an employee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Montenegro
Minister if foreign affairs is Djordje Radulović who already works at the ministry.
Minister for economic development is Jakov Milatović, a young economist @EBRD
Minister for forestry is Aleksandar Stijović who seems to be an expert on the matter
Minister of science, culture, education and sport is Vesna Bratić, director of PM’s NGO, and a person with series of bizarre public appearances. She calls herself “a Serbian nationalist”.
Healthcare minister is doctor Jelena Borovinić Bojović who is a head of the lung disease clinic at the Clinical center of Montenegro who was criticized for attending the metropolitan funeral and allowing infected people to freely move around COVID clinic.
Minister of Justice is the main church legal advisor and Fulbright scholar very critical of NATO.
Minister of finance is Milojko Spajić cryptocurrency wonk, very active in Serbian nationalist organizations.
Ministry of defense will be offered to Dritan Abazović, if he declines, the minister will be Krsto Perović, who worked at the mission of Montenegro at NATO
Minister of internal affairs is Nikola Terzić, IDK who he is, will ask around :) Follow @cafemontenegro
So, Nikola Terzić iz Abazović’s URA official attorney, and a business partner of some URA high officials. No expertise nor experience in internal affairs nor public administration, security...
Tamara Srzentić might be a good pick, if it is Tamara Srzentić who currently works in the California state administration in Sacramento. So, overall, you can say 25% of the government gas some expertise others are chosen for their loyality to church or URA.
No people close to Demokrate (you have some DF people there, minister of healthcare i.e.) and I see @vpavicevic from the Demokrate-led coalition already protesting the list of ministers. DF very critical of the list, only Abazović says he trusts Krivokapić’s choices.
