As Diwali is approaching the so-called environmentalist will wake up and will start talking about pollution. I am naming them as "Cracker cause pollution Campaign people'
Which will post tweets like
" DIWALI IS THE FESTIVAL OF LIGHT. It's NOT FOR NOISE AND AIR POLLUTION"
#Thread
Diwali is a festival of light, and burning crackers is a gesture of showing joy. Remember the day once you were a child, who wanted to burn the crackers. Now you grew up. You cannot stop a tradition which is being followed up by years.
Why specifically on Diwali?
Pollution is present for all 365 days.
Does burning crackers cause pollution? Yes, but the stay for approx 3 days
Does stopping crackers will stop pollution? No, the pollution major causes is not crackers
Let take a State which suffers most and talk about it.
Road dust= 38%
Vehicles 20℅
Domestic source 12 ℅
Shocking isn't it? The top 3 contribution of pollution is not Diwali Firecrackers.
Slow claps to 😼 these fake environmentalists
Sitting in Ac room, and talking about pollution won't going to make you an environmentalist, Accept it.
Either be active 365 days in years or better don't talk about it
Let people celebrate the festival peacefully
Comparing it to different city-level it varies from city to city
Comparison between all 4 seasons along with the cause of pollution.
Go through this.
Still have doubt let me know.
Burning crackers is a personal choice. If you want, go head if not leave it. Eco-friendly or greencracker which was introduced by Dr. Harsh Vardhan which cut off 30℅ of the emission you can use it
Govt already working on firecrackers
⛔permissible noise level caused by pollution
⛔the time frame for burning
⛔obtaining a license for setting up
⛔production process and composition.
Other than this, govt is working 365 days, not like you. How? Highlighting a few points ;
1) Solar power.
2) Indian Railway reduce the emission of gases
3)subsidized and Cheap LED
4)National Highway using trash like plastic to build roads
There are a lot more
Thank you for reading it. Have a safe and Happy Diwali in advance.
