He spends a lot of time trying to take down journalists who don't quite agree with him. But these recent attacks puzzled me, because I hadn't written anything on the subject for more than 18 months, and my last relevant tweet about a TED Talk by Myles Allen - hardly a "denier".
Anyway, now I realise why Bob was suddenly on the warpath again. He's just lost a complaint he made to the Independent Press Standards Organisation about an article I wrote criticising David Attenborough's BBC film, Climate Change: The Facts.
Every single point raised by Bob was rejected by IPSO. It's taken them more than 18 months to publish their ruling, but still, it's nice to be vindicated. This was my article https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-6943475/What-Attenborough-told-BBC-viewers-orangutan-fighting-digger-truth.html
And this is IPSO's ruling: https://ipso.co.uk/rulings-and-resolution-statements/ruling/?id=03688-19
It's not been a great day for Bob. He's also lost two complaints he made about articles in the Daily Telegraph: https://ipso.co.uk/rulings-and-resolution-statements/ruling/?id=04772-19… and https://ipso.co.uk/rulings-and-re
Now, this is by no means the first time Bob has complained to IPSO about me. In fact, by my count, it's the sixth. He made at least three complaints before that to the old Press Complaints Commission. But there have been so many I lose count.
Whenever Bob attacks me, I think of this article - an occasion when he had to admit he and buddies made serious errors. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3863462/Exposed-university-helped-secure-9million-money-passing-rivals-research-bankroll-climate-change-agenda.html
