When I was married & life was really hard I had a plan. A simple but effective plan. I was going to wait until I heard that familiar snore. I would throw on my clothes, shoes & grab my keys. I would drive, unbuckled, to this deadend road that ended this HUGE oak tree.
I would smash down on that accelerator so hard that the car would fly toward that tree. That I would hit it perfectly so the last thing my body hit was that beautiful old tree.
I tell you this so you know that had I carried through that plan I would’ve missed so much good.
I would have missed doing all the small good, not great, but good things I’ve done since then: All the people I’ve helped IRL, all the smiles I helped make, all the hugs & kisses I gave... all the small wonders.
So, if you have a plan. Tell someone. You have so much you will do.
You have so many people who will miss their chance to have good moments with you. You will miss amazing sunrises, sunsets, hugs, kisses, tasty meals, incredibly fun and frivolous adventures. The world will miss you.
Tell someone. Ask for help. Don’t follow through on that plan💜
