US political nerds. Here are the recount rules by key state:
Arizona is an automatic recount state (if the vote is within 0.1%).
In Georgia candidates can request a recount when margin is less than 1%.
Michigan has an automatic recount at less than 2k final tally, but the loser can also request a recount above that if they have a reasonable chance (so vague).
Nevada only has an auto recount if it’s a tie, but the loser can file for a recount in any circumstance.
Pennsylvania has an auto recount if the margin is less than 0.5%, but votes can petition for individual county recounts if they allege vote total errors.
Wisconsin the loser can demand a recount if the margin is less than 1%.
