The problem with all of this talk about voting irregularities in some states is that I no longer have any way of properly judging whether the claims are backed by any substance because I know right off the bat that I can't trust the mainstream media to report truthfully on it.

My default assumption is always "nah, this almost certainly is nonsense" but I suppose it's easy for me to feel that way in this case because I prefer that Trump lose.

That is what the media lost during the Trump era: I simply have no faith at all in their willingness to tell a truthful story if it "favors the bad guy." I didn't use to feel that way. But now there's such internal pressure to only tell one side that I can't know for sure anymore
