So, today. Day 3 of the match between Trumpshire vs Bidenshire. Trump chose to bat first and made a a good score despite predictions they’d be bowled out for very little, Biden failing to take the key wicket of Florida. Trump asserted victory at the end of their first innings.
Biden batted yesterday and made good inroads on Trumps score, Trump failing to take Michigan and Wisconsin but reviewing several and appealing for every ball that even looked like hitting a pad, in line or not.
With five wickets in hand, Biden needs to reach 270 for victory. However, the Biden tail looks increasingly wobbly, and at a conservative estimate they need another 50 with the weather looking to set in.
In an already fractious contest, nobody wants to see the result calculated via the Duckworth Lewis Method and all the chaos that would bring.
