I’m seeing a lot of talk about Pennsylvania so let me put up this thread so people understand what’s going on.
This is the first time we have had mail in ballots. Counties are not used to handling this many and the processing has been slow.
In addition, we couldn’t count or even precanvass ballots before 7 am on Election Day thanks to our GOP controlled state legislature.
Many counties did not budget enough for machines, or did not train enough volunteers to process ballots 24/7. The exception of this are large counties of Allegheny and Philadelphia.
What is not reported in at the moment is the city of Allentown, as well as 350,000 votes in Philadelphia. York County also has 75,000 mail in votes to process.
Mail in ballots are overwhelmingly Democratic by 2/3 margin. So there are hundreds of thousands of Dem votes still sitting out there.
This is why everyone here is super confident in a Biden win. We aren’t even sweating. Trump and Co have been circling especially Philadelphia for weeks with super weak challenges. Same goes for the state GOP.
The only challenge that seems to have legs is the one where ballots are received after Election Day. And that may not be an insignificant amount of ballots as we have had chronic USPS issues.
However, estimates are that Biden will win Pennsylvania by 100,000-200,000 votes, making basically all of that irrelevant. There are not that many votes hanging out there in the USPS black hole. Something like 82% of mail in ballots were returned.
As an aside, Pennsylvania has no early voting, and only in person voting on Election Day. And when studying returns check each county, not the states website, for better accuracy.
Here are the official mail in ballot requests for Pennsylvania and the return rates. See how overwhelmingly Dem they are?
This caused hour plus long lines in Trump country and there were mixed reports of gop voters leaving because they didn’t want to wait in line.
The State GOP was actually pushing vote by mail, but the rhetoric from the president torpedoed that effort. The result is Dems banked more than a million votes before Election Day.
Let me add, how Pennsylvania goes, so goes the country. Well how my home of Northampton County goes, so goes Pennsylvania. And it was close, but Northampton County went for Joe Biden.
So chill America. We will go blue. It’s going to be a slow process. But we will do this right.
Oh good. Looks like only 13 ballots lost to the black hole of USPS in Pennsylvania. https://twitter.com/ajplus/status/1324037216448991232
Chatter apparently looking even more favorable to Dems than before. https://twitter.com/howardfineman/status/1324209176709681154
Some counties are now into provisional ballots.
There are a lot in some counties because folks never got their mail in ballot. Remember mail in ballots are overwhelmingly Dem. In order to vote in person if you requested a mail in ballot you had to surrender the ballot and both envelopes at the polls. Aka spoil the ballot.
Many people never got a ballot to bring, or they forgot pieces of it.
In any event, if York County, which is the largest amount of votes for Trump in the whole state, is skewed that Dem, then it’s pretty safe to say provisionals are largely Dem everywhere, which makes sense.
In general, very few provisional ballots are thrown out.

As I was saying. We got this. https://twitter.com/redistrict/status/1324470691845079040
Surprised there are that many frankly, but less than half than what we started the day with. https://twitter.com/sovernnation/status/1324482898754367488
We did it! I told y’all
#TrackingKornacki I see is in with some super hot takes I disagree with. Regarding provisional ballots. The majority of them are voters who intended to vote by mail and for whatever reason did not.
Remember this is the first year we did mail in ballots. In order to not vote by mail you had to bring your ballot, and both envelopes to the polls. Many ballots didn't arrive, or people forgot pieces so thus provisional ballots.
I am wondering if his thinking is being clouded by York County, which contains more R votes than any other county in the state. They had a huge amount of provisional ballots - 10,000. They are skewing much more R. Why? One of the polling places gave out nothing but provisionals.
Provisionals in all other counties in a worst case for Dems, are going to be more evenly split or skew Dem as is the case in Allegheny and Philadelphia counties.
Also remember that Allegheny has 35,000 of these provisionals because 29,0000 people were originally sent the wrong ballot with errors on it. They have to sort all that out and that’s why it is taking a while.
