Ah yes I love being told that there’s “thoughtful people” out there who supports a man transparently reaching for a dictatorship and doing what he can to strip rights away from minorities. So thoughtful. https://twitter.com/misteraddons/status/1323973200418668546
Also I’ve tried having plenty of these “thoughtful conversations”. On average most supporters refuse to acknowledge any of his crimes or wrongdoings and simply parrot nonsense and non-issues. They hate libs just because and BLM and antifa are terrorist orgs for no reason.
There’s no thought behind it, no deeper thinking behind it. There’s no conversation to uphold. That’s “their opinion” and that’s all they care about.
Family, friends, it doesn’t matter what your previous relationship is. If we can’t find common ground that people should be treated as equals and that we should not be lead by someone who deliberately fucked up a pandemic, I am done trying to be nice.
The number of people who claim to “not be racist” because they see it as some judgement of character despite supporting racist ideals or systems is just baffling. We’re all racist when we live in a racist society and operate racist institutions. Some groups and actions are worse
Than others. Can’t have conversations about this if one side runs away with fingers in their ears saying “nuhuh” while supporting racist causes.
Can’t have economic recovery without accepting that the mishandling of the pandemic lead to this crash and it could have been
Better as plenty of other countries have proven and we knew would happen once Trump gutted the CDC and pandemic preparedness in his first year.
We can’t have “thoughtful” fucking conversations when half the responses are “cry lib” and so many people aren’t even paying attention to what the issues actually are.
We can’t have conversation when a side has been brainwashed to not trust real sources of info or science
And eat out of the palm of the hand of misinformation.
We’ve spent 4+ years now trying to “have conversations”. Fuck you, I’m done being nice to my oppressors.
Being told to be nice to those trying to take away your rights is structural violence. It’s the people in power trying to keep you quiet.
The people who think murder is a justifiable response to property damage but not the other way around are trying to silence the victims.
We’ve had no shortage of protests and discussions all year and they have led to nothing. Can’t have a conversation with someone who doesn’t want to listen.
If you’re wondering why your liberal friends and family all think you’re racist or bigoted for supporting trump, it’s high time you accept the fact that he doesn’t represent your best interests.
He’s succeeded in 0 of his campaign promises either. So what are you voting for?
Even after your vote has been cast, we’re watching a scared, pathetic man pull out blatant authoritarianism trying to steal an election and make YOUR VOTE not count, all while projecting it to the other side.
If you can’t see how this goes against everything, what fucking
Conversation am I supposed to have with you?!?
What possible “thoughtful conversation” am I supposed to have with a party of people who literally want votes to stop being count?
I am not a violent person but this is where that comes into question. This is where our society is in danger. https://twitter.com/annalise_frank/status/1324079313176678402
These “thoughtful people” are so happy to have protestors simply asking for police reform and to stop being murdered be beaten, arrested, and killed, but will never even be handcuffed by police.
WHAT CONVERSATION ARE WE HAVING HERE
Thoughtful conversation btw https://twitter.com/techninjaspeaks/status/1324146532929703937
If you’re wondering how we are possibly so angry. Imagine someone is walking around your house pouring gasoline and lighting matches and then telling you to calm down and be nice.
