why i seriously think sakuatsu might be closer than we thought
let's consider the fact they knew each other way before they joined msby,, knowing each other since their 2nd year (if not, 1st year if ever there was a training camp)
sakusa may have known bokuto through the inter-high, but i highly doubt they spent time together like skts did

can i point out that everytime they bully atsumu, sakusa is always present?
there was also the scene in the light novel where atsumu rushes in while sakusa was being interviewed.
to me, it comes off as atsumu rescuing sakusa or something— he already knew sakusa was going to be uncomfortable so he came in and indirectly helped him escape.

sakusa doesn't even high five his teammates, let alone touch him.

and it's not even atsumu.... it was the fangifts that sakusa was getting uncomfortable with, not atsumu's hand on his shoulder.

im pretty sure atsumu was the one who gave sakusa his nickname,,
we all know that atsumu calls almost everyone (mostly his age or younger) by their first name, calling kageyama "tobio-kun", hinata "shoyo-kun"
he would've called sakusa "kiyoomi-kun",,, but he calls him "omi-kun"

lastly (thank you @/ice_is_love for pointing this out) omi became the partner atsumu found his twin in, especially that he and osamu separated.
