One of my (many, many) vices during the pandemic has been Cadbury’s Dairy Milk Big Taste Oreo Crunch: giant slabs of chocolate with Oreo biscuit and cream filling. It’s beyond magnificent: lovely balance of textures and a satisfying substance to it. But the other day...
I discovered there’s now a Milka version! While I love Cadbury, Milka is also delicious and you don’t seem to see it so much here. So of course I had to do a taste test, and the at was this evening’s fun.
Verdict: interestingly they’re virtually identical in appearance and structure. The Oreo content is, unsurprisingly, the same. But on taste, Cadbury wins. I do love the slightly sweeter Milka chocolate but it suits softer fillings. The crunch suits the Cadbury much better.
