2/5 attempt to pull his army from the #Eritrea n border. I wouldn't doubt that they are/were responsible for stoking up ethnic conflict all around #Ethiopia as a way to undermine Abiy & his government. They further refused to cancel their planned "elections" & furthermore

3/5 questioned the legitimacy of the federal government. Likewise months prior the TPLF had public military parades as a way to further stoke the drumbeats of war. They continued to ratchet up talks of impending war. When PM Abiy recently sent his general to take over command of

4/5 the northern command, they refused him entry. Is it really a stretch to think that the #TPLF would have seen this as their opportunity to seize the weapons of the Northern command before PM Abit took them back? All of these provocations were the solely the actions of the TPLF

5/5 to pave the way for them to succeed from #Ethiopia. #Eritrea has nothing to do with it. In typical fashion the #TPLF is using the Eritrea/Issais boogeyman as a way to deflect and try to rile up other Ethiopians in their conflict that they solely instigated.
