Just want to be clear: what @robertpjones refers to as Biden's "modest improvement" on Clinton's "dismal" (true!) showing among white evangelicals, in fact accounts for a swing nationally of well over 4 million votes.

It is possible that this swing will account for Biden's entire margin of victory in the popular vote. And esp since white evangelicals held at 27% of the electorate, the idea white evangelicals have remained "basically the same" should be firmly rejected based on available data.

I am sure that those who have spent the last four years dumping on white evangelicals will be more than eager to share this provisional news.
