Wacky messed up polling gave you inflated expectations so now you feel let down. Look, I’m right there with you. It sucks that it looks like we won’t take the Senate and it makes everything a lot harder.
But go back in time and tell yourself that he’ll be gone.

There was a time when people were loudly declaring that Trump losing was all that mattered.

Unless something utterly unbelievably bizarre happens last-minute—which I will concede is technically possible—he’s going to be gone. He’s going to be a loser. He will not be immune from prosecution. There’s a good chance he’ll be facing financial ruin.
If he has indeed lost, we can’t stop working. But we can take a breath. We stopped the bleeding. We have a chance to stabilize things.
A Biden win gives us a chance. A Trump win is a disaster we very possibly never come back from.

After this, if Biden has won—and it looks extremely likely that he has—things will be better. Not as much better as we hoped, as quickly as we hoped, but they will be better.
We still got an extremely dangerous couple of months to deal with, and a very dark and deadly winter.
But it will get better.
But it will get better.
If you MAKE it better.
