It can be hard to feel proactive again after going through a rough patch…

Today I bring you a few tips on how to get back on track.

/// THREAD ///
1⃣REVIEW YOUR HABITS

What did you do yesterday? You probably remember…

And exactly 12 days ago? Not so easy. I do even have a hard time remembering what I ate yesterday!

How you expect to notice YOUR progress when you don’t even know on what you are investing your time?
Solution: Journaling or even a “Track my habits” app.

See what you have been working on/doing, and backtrack it.

What’s the point? To work out what you have been up to, that is your habits, and change them accordingly.
2⃣THE 5-MINUTE RULE

Feeling like you don’t want to do a task?

How about just doing it for 5 minutes?

The trick is to 'trick' your brain into doing it.

5 minutes become, 10, 15… next thing you know you are way ahead with your work.

Get things in motion!
3⃣FIND THAT MOTIVATION

It might be working out, reading one of my Tweets (see what I did there?), Deep House music (my personal favorite), success stories...

Find what motivates you and consume it right before getting things done.

Next thing you know you are back on track.
4⃣TAKE A DAY OFF

Perhaps you didn’t expect that one.... But sometimes you just need to take the day off.

We are all humans with our up and downs. It’s impossible to be giving 100% all the time.

There is nothing wrong with taking a break.
It does become a problem IF this is your new habit though.

The whole point is for you to recharge so you can get back at 100%!
