Watching the @NCSBE press briefing right now. Karen Brinson Bell reminds North Carolinians that every ballot will be counted, and that North Carolina's numbers will move very little before November 12 and 13, when county boards meet to count the absentee ballots. #ncpol
This means that potentially 117,000 mail-in ballots and an unknown number of provisional ballots, are still up in the air. If around 66K return in favor of Biden, he could demand a recount in the state.
County boards have to manually go through the ballots and cross-reference with voter history. This could change that 117K requested mail-in number.
Mail-in and one-stop early voting both set new state records for the most ballots count. Over 62 percent of registered voters voted early; 69 percent TOTAL voted in 2016.
