Here's my perspective that I think stands regardless of outcome. Some may not like it, but this is why we live in a land that prizes free speech and for many, still values critical thinking... A take on Democrats and three important areas I think they [we] are missing:
1) How much the economy matters - esp. to millions of Americans who are out of work, lost their business and are worrying about how to pay rent next month. They don’t have the luxury of voting on morals.
2) Rural America - I recently learned that there are 60M Americans who live in towns with <2,500 population. They don’t feel seen/heard by politicians, or tech, or finance, or frankly probably the media.
3) Socialism being any part of Democratic agenda - a major flaw that Republicans capitalized heavily on in their rhetoric and ads... America is a capitalist country and that is deeply ingrained.
PS. Donald Trump is still a disgusting human being and atrocious role model. But the reality of the above still stands.

PPS. I am white, cis, educated, privileged and don't have insurmountable debt. All of which make this perspective easier to have and to verbalize.
