[Manga Spoilers ahead]

Another person I would love to entering the stage again is the one, who is said to be the strongest ability user and the one, who can see through all kind of things.

Natsume Souseki’s “Three-Part-Framework” shall be the coalition between the Special Ability Department (governing the day), the Port Mafia (governing the night) and the ADA (governing the Twilight).

Natsume has deep faith in his pupils Mori, Fukuzawa and (most likely) Taneda to protect Yokohama.

BSD never has been a manga, which aimed for reaching a specific goal. It always has been an exploration of the character’s moral, attitudes and philosophy.

The story revolves around these explorations. What is good? What is bad? Am I a bad person if I do bad things in order to achieve something good?

That’s why we were blessed to see the ADA und the “actual antagonist” PM work together in order to defeat the Guild.

Their wordless “truce” continued until Fyodor broke in and made the way of actual comrades part again.

But Natsume Souseki has always been there, watching over his pupils. He reminded Mori and Fukuzawa, who where crossing their swords during the Cannibalism Arc of their actual goal, which they can only achieve together: protect Yokohama.

Looking at the current events in the BSD manga, the “Three-Part-Framework” seems to be breaking apart, since each party endured tremendous losses, which made them weak and vulnerable.

But luckily we have Dazai – the setscrew between all of the three parties! The former PM executive with his fingertips on the shoulder of the Special Ability Apartment, the current ADA member. Dazai is the key to make all three parties adjust their strengths, minimize their

weaknesses and to fight alongside in order to become the strongest force to take down their enemies. We can fight alone, but we can only be strong together.

Natsume Souseki has always been at Dazai’s side in his calico cat form and we hear Dazai calling him “Sensei”.

This being said – I just know that despite the current pain, there is a greater plan behind what’s going on.
I just can't see Dazai sacrificing the lives of anybody in

order to take down the DOA, which makes him the exact opposite to the Dazai we know from BEAST.
He is on the side that saves people.

“To write novels is to write about humans.” Natsume’s words made Odasaku stop killing people, because he understood that a murderer has no right to write about the lives of people. He changed the character who had the highest impact on the whole story.

Asagiri-sensei created a world to explore the most versatile characters I’ve ever seen in a manga. He writes about their inner struggles, the clashing of their attitudes, explores their philosophies. I kinda hope Natsume’s words mean as much to him as they meant to Odasaku./end/
