Today's false info is likely to be focused on ballot counts, results, and numbers.

We'll do our best to bring you up-to-date information but stick closely to what results are saying. Screenshots of results can be outdated within minutes.
1. It's misleading to say ballots were "magically found" in Michigan, where mail-in ballots are still being counted: http://buzzfeednews.com/article/janelytvynenko/election-rumors-debunked#125898666

Count in Michigan has already changed. Rather than tweeting fluctuating numbers, see results here: http://buzzfeednews.com/article/buzzfeednews/live-results-2020-elections
↪️ RE: above.

The state is largely Democratic and absentee ballots are "expected to be more generally favorable to Biden," according to the Detroit Free Press.

2. Folks, Joe Biden did not just win Wisconsin. You can video up to date results here: http://buzzfeednews.com/article/buzzfeednews/live-results-2020-elections

As Politico reported, Twitter labelled the below tweet from a Dem official as disputed or misleading in a first for an official for the party.

3. No, Wisconsin doesn't have more votes than people who are registered to vote.

Per Wisconsin Election Commission ( https://elections.wi.gov/node/7220 ), there are 3,684,726 active voters as of Nov. 1.

The total amount counted as of 11:30 am ET is 3,288,771.

4. Yes, you can use sharpies to vote, Arizona officials confirm.

Republican supporters are falsely saying they were given sharpies so that their votes would be invalidated. According to Hoaxy, over 500 tweets mentioning sharpies today and counting.
5. Yes, some counties paused vote counting overnight. No, it's not suspicious.

Because the US does not have a national election authority, decisions to let poll workers sleep differed by place, with some locations continuing to work around the clock.

6. ABC has not called Arizona in the first place (src https://abcnews.go.com/Elections/2020-us-presidential-election-results-live-map).

It's not happening. Don't RT.
7. The White House Press Secretary and the president’s son are lying about winning Pennsylvania.

State election officials have not yet certified the results. As of Wednesday afternoon, there were still thousands of ballots remaining to be counted.

↪️ UPDATE:

Twitter labels tweets from White House Press Secritary and the president's son with a message saying, "Official sources may not have called the race when this was Tweeted."
8. No. A winner has not been called.
9. A video claiming to show someone burning Trump ballots is very sketchy. It was amplified by Eric Trump.

Some of the first instances were promoted by anonymous accts, one of which was suspended from Twitter after our inquiry.

↪️ More on the 80 ballots burned video, above:

The ballots in the video didn't match what real ballots look like. The formatting was off and they looked to have been printed on standard printer paper, which is not used for ballots in the US.

10. The US president is lying about winning Pennsylvania and repeated disinformation about “secretly dumped ballots.”

Twitter applied warning labels.
