Good morning, Georgia. It's 9 a.m. and here's where we stand:

Trump's margin over Biden is ~102k votes.

The Secretary of State will hold a presser at 11:30 to talk about election process/count/give general updates.

I'll be there and we'll be streaming it.
Happening now: @GaSecofState speaks.

“Perhaps for the first time in Georgia, we had an Election Day where wait times were below 10 minutes across the state.” #gapol

Statement from Fulton County: there are at least 67k absentees that need scanning and/or adjudicating today.

That’s a big chunk of remaining votes.
Why are there still 200k+ ballots to count, you may ask?

Justin has the answer! Georgia's deadline was 7pm yesterday so counties are processing those last-minute dropoffs, on top of the thousands in counties we know are there but not yet counted. https://twitter.com/JustinGrayWSB/status/1324082931095187462?s=20
Update from Cobb County! https://twitter.com/cobbcountygovt/status/1324093973489688576
It's 4:52 p.m.

By my count, there are about 163,000 absentee-by-mail votes that we *know of* that haven't been counted, plus more potentially that arrived late yesterday.

Trump's lead in GA is only 66k votes now, with some Fulton coming in. #gapol
One of the potentially surprising data points is that Biden is currently winning 60% of Houston County's absentee ballots, with about half of its 20k absentees in.

If David Perdue has to go to a runoff because of absentees in his home county... https://twitter.com/stphnfwlr/status/1324107677186826242?s=20
Chatham County (Savannah) will only get through about a third of their 25k absentees tonight. They have the second-highest remaining totals that also skew Democratic. #gapol
