A lot of people keep on asking me why do I stan her so much. Even my classmates and friends irl calls me Asuna due to my undying love for this character. I have never been so attached with any other characters in my whole life.

Why do I stan Asuna Yuuki
A lot of people keep on asking me why do I stan her so much. Even my classmates and friends irl calls me Asuna due to my undying love for this character. I have never been so attached with any other characters in my whole life.
Asuna started with a cold attitude which is some sort of an ego defense mechanism (we're talking psychology here). She'd rather be alone than interact with other ppl. When she first appeared, I felt like there's a connection for I am an introvert. I enjoy spending my time alone.+
-Though being an introvert doesn't mean you're not fond of communicating or just being shy. It's more than just that and I find it too hard to explain. There were just some times wherein you feel like you're drained and need to recharge by spending your time alone.
That caught my full attention. As time goes by, the character development was very evident. She started with a cold front and is slowly showing her soft side. Who would've thought that this feisty girl has a soft side too. Truly a tsundere indeed.
Also- if you all did notice, she only started showing those changes when Kirito told him about how great her potential is. We're weak at first but we still are potentially strong. Obviously, she took it seriously and strived harder and voila she became the Vice Commander of KoB+
-She became a front liner making her an integral factor in order to beat the game. At first, she doesn't care whether she dies or not but upon meeting Kirito; that aspect changed. She proves that we can become something useful, something that is important if we work hard for it.
-She embodied the qualities of being capable though she's a girl, she still proved her worth. Not only that, she does not let anyone belittle her. She fights for herself and will always fight for what is right, for the things she believe in and for the things she wants to protect
-Despite of all that, she allowed herself to love. She learned to open herself to Kirito. To whom she can show her weak side. For an independent individual, that sure is hard. Especially when you don't want to bother your loved ones.
-On top of all that, she's so warm and very forgiving. She always understand and will always be so understanding.
-AND FOR CLARIFICATIONS:
I don't stan her just because she's one of the main character. I stan her because I can relate to her. If she happened to just be a supporting character, I'd still stan her to the core and nothing can change nor affect that fact.
