Im genuinely so concerned about living in Alberta as a POC during these times.
Im not sure if ppl are not aware or forgot but when trump initially got elected 4 yrs ago, we saw a massive spike on hate crimes committed by a lot of white supremacist groups. please be safe everyone.

the province with the most hate crimes within Canada is Alberta.

bear in mind, I will go on a limb & even claim (allegedly) that a large chunk of hate crimes go unreported.

^this assumption is based off personal experiences as well as experiences others have shared with me.

this little thread was just to show those who weren’t aware about the rising hate crimes within our province & within our own city.

this thread was also a reminder/warning for all Black people & POC so we can all take extra precautions to stay safe & protect one another.
