Friendly reminder that it’s Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders who are Indigenous to ‘Australia’. Use capital letters. It’s Māori for Indigenous people in Aotearoa.
And again, like I say in my original thread, you can go to these places, but be willing to fight for Indigenous people. To March. To sign petitions. To pay the rent. To support them however you can.

The point was to stop lying and erasing Indigenous people and our history, struggles etc. This wasn’t about which place is better. Frankly all these countries offer something, but that doesn’t change the continued violence against Indigenous people. Or anti-Blackness.
It doesn’t change the fact that they’re colonies. Or that no matter how “progressive” their governments are, it’s still stolen land

You’re apart of the problem. And maybe stop defending these colonies like they’re perfect. You literally gain nothing.
The way y’all talk about Indigenous people and to us is disturbing. Colonisers and settlers alike, y’all do not have any right to be telling us how to feel. Period.
