1. This is probably the weirdest year of most of our lives. Those of us who are fortunate enough to be back in work (for now at least) are wrestling with a multitude of new challenges.

2. Yet recently Iâve seen some of the best and most exciting & imaginative work coming from peopleâs living rooms, bedrooms, gardens and kitchens,
3. . I desperately miss being in the room with people but actually, the vast majority of you know what youâre doing and you do it brilliantly, even if you donât believe it when you send off those files.
4. I have always been and remain constantly amazed by the commitment that actors give to their work. Without you, we are nothing.
5. I give particular credit and respect to the senior actors, who donât always have a reader, or indeed much tech savvy, yet they deliver some amazing and inspiring work.
6. Bottom line is, please donât worry about it being perfect. It doesnât have to be perfect. There are some ideal principles about self-taping but really, we just want to see your work and most importantly, see you. Thank you x
