How I Came To Money Twitter With Zero Skills and Stopped Being "Just Another Account"

Quick thread.
I started Twitter because of covid (bunch of us did).

No special skills. No big takes on anything.

I came here because of the money (again, bunch of us did).

And stayed like that for a couple months.

Then I met @oliviercantin...
I was fortunate enough to get on a call with him. Then he completely changed my perspective on Twitter $$$.

Key takeaways:

Be patient.
Listen to your audience.
Learn a skill and teach it to others.

10/10 advice.

Only one problem:

Which skill?
That one problem took me months to solve.

I like copy, but I'm not passionate about it.

I like sales, but I'm not passionate about it.

So what do I do?

I see so many people improving on their thing...

But how can I improve on my thing when I don't even know what my thing IS?
I tried and tried and tried.

Nothing clicked.

One time I saw @lawrencekingyo tweet about how @Gillette's social media manager couldn't get more than 3 likes on a tweet.

That was the "hold up." moment for me.
I kinda put it in the back of my mind. Didn't pay much attention to it.

Then I launched The Day You Became Stronger.

Results?

Not very good.

I feel passionate about helping men.

But I'm always going to have that business aspect in my DNA.

So I took a break.
Questions explored during my break:

What the fuck am I doing?
What the fuck am I good at?
How the fuck do I make money?

All in all, what Lawrence said clicked.

I've tweeted for almost 7 months now.

I'm good at it.

I could help others get good at it.
"Time for a growth guide!"

Nah. Too many of those.

I wanted clients. So I used @ComedicBizman's course to learn copy.

But the thing that changed my life was the part on Client Outreach.

Within 20 outreachs I closed a couple clients.

And I made 8x what my job used to pay me.
I quit a couple months back, but looking at this was mind blowing.

So I started @Tweetfluence as a way to satisfy both of my interests:

-Molina is for helping men.
-Tweetfluence is for helping businesses.

Lessons:
-You know how to tweet
-You can learn how to cold outreach

You basically know two things:

You know how to sell. You know how to build. If you can do both, you will be unstoppable.

(Heard this before?)
I stopped being another account by actually doing the work.

I reached out to clients
I got nervous af in sales calls
I proved my skill to them
I monetized it way beyond what some people make with PDF's

You can do it too

I'll show you everything on @Tweetfluence (so follow me!)
If you enjoyed this, please like every tweet and retweet the top one.

I'll help you make money.

Working on a course right now. If this thread does well I'll know that people want it.

Cheers.
