Nikola Milenkovic - Would He Improve The Spurs backline?

[A Thread]
Nikola Milenkovic was born in Belgrade in October 1997 and spent his entire youth career at Partizan Belgrade. He stands at 6’5 (195cm), meaning he has long legs to deal with tricky wingers.

He’s right footed, hence usually plays on the right of a centre back partnership.
Distribution from the centre backs is key in our system. Milenkovic has a pass completion of 93% for medium-ranged balls, and 76% for long balls. This placed him 10th place, compared to other Serie A defenders. More than decent for a 22 y/o defender, with lots of room for growth.
In terms of defensive actions, in the 19/20 season, he averaged 1.88 tackles per game, 0.47 of these being against dribbles. In terms of pressures, he provides on average 10.2 a game. Finally, he blocks around 1.02 shots a game.

These stats make him a t10 defender in the league
Aerially, he wins 76% of his duels. For comparison, Skriniar won 56% of his air duels. What makes Milenkovic special as a defender is his unique combination of intelligence, reading of the game and physical ability. Plus, he has good recovery pace.
Milenkovic has been linked to many European sides, including Manchester United, both Milan teams, and Tottenham. OGS actually went and scouted Milenkovic in 2018, but chose to sign Maguire instead.
In my opinion, Milenkovic would be a good addition in our squad, but does not solve our defensive issues. We’re crying for a LCB more than anything, and Milenkovic does not satisfy this requirement. But, he is already a t10 defender in the league, with much more room to grow.
His price would be steep, with around ÂŁ40m required to secure his services.
