With the year wrapping up I will more than likely not be back on this account until February after Sunday. However I want you all to know I appreciate you guys and your effort and passion to help me bring awareness to these slow stops. Over this year I have learned a few things
Firstly I am not alone in the disappointment of these stops. A lot of other Kurt fans & CGR fans of Larson, Kenseth, & soon Ross all have & will continue to strive for faster pit stops. I thank everyone for their continued support in this endeavor.
Secondly I'd like to thank Matt McCall for his unique pit strategy. I have agreed with him on more calls than not. Fact is without his belief in Kurt's driving abilities and Matt's calls at Kentucky and Vegas we would have 0 wins.
Thirdly compared to what Jaimie was doing in this car to where Kurt & CGR is at the moment is leaps & bounds. I remember the heart break I felt when Kurt didn't resign with SHR. However kurt has continued his 1 win per year streak.
I have no faith in Chip willingly stepping up in NASCAR, unfortunately my cries have fallen on deaf ears. Matt's unique calls & Kurt's driving abilities are not enough to overcome 20 second stops and 2-8 spots lost per stop. With Kurt's contract coming up at the end of next year
I fear that he wont be able to ever contend for another championship. Just like when he helped the 2 (then they won) then the 22 ( and they won) and the 78 (and THEY won) I truly hope that all this isn't too late to help the 1 team to the championship.
All this being said Chip does not take this page seriously from the fact that he only wants to ignore the issues. Even though chip no longer wants to see or hear what WE have to say I hope that this page soon enough becomes enough for Matt & Kurt to get some help on pit road
Thank you all to the constant supporters. I will see you all this Sunday.
Sincerely
-Another Kurt Busch fan.
