MYTH: Voter fraud is widespread in Pennsylvania.

FACT: Voter fraud occurs incredibly rarely. This conclusion has been confirmed by numerous non-partisan, independent studies as well as government studies and legislative inquiries.
MYTH: Poll watchers can contest my ballot as I’m voting and throw it out.

FACT: Your right to vote can only be challenged based on identity or place of residence. If someone will vouch for you, you can still vote on the machine. If not, you can still vote by provisional ballot.
MYTH: It is up to private citizens to “protect” the election by monitoring polling sites.

FACT: It’s up to our election officials to protect the election — and only them.
MYTH: Dead people are voting.

FACT: No. In Pennsylvania, mail-in ballots are processed so that even ballots from recently deceased voters aren’t counted.
MYTH: Voting by mail is more susceptible to fraud than voting on Election Day.

FACT: Voting by mail is just as secure as voting in-person.
