please keep living -- a thread of reasons

(please rt this for those struggling)
hey. i know that if you opened this you're probably struggling right now. no matter your situation, you are completely valid. you might think that killing yourself will make it all go away or will make you suffer less. to you, i write this list of reasons to not commit suicide.
1. feelings aren't permanent

your feelings are absolutely valid, but they don't last forever. everything changes, and if you want to die now there is no guarantee you will want to in the future. things in you life that will come later might change how you feel.
2. your life matters

i know you've probably been told this a million times, but i will say it again because it's true. your existence is invaluable. you matter so goddamn much. if you were to die right now, i can't tell you how much of a loss that'd be.
3. first-time experiences

you will never be able to do that thing you've been wanting to do forever if you die. living for the hobby you've always found cool or that activity people have recommenced to you is worth it
4. long-running media

do you have a tv show or book series that isn't finished yet that you've been looking forward to? living for things like this is worth it. you will never know the ending if you're dead.
5. platonic relationships

if you stay alive, you might find a friend that you really like and relate to. if you don't like your current family staying alive a little longer might help you find another. even if you don't have somebody now, people will care about you.
6. new favourite song

have you ever found your favourite song? if you stay alive you might find another one and you'll be able to appreciate. music is beautiful, and you won't regret it if you stay alive for a little longer.
7. travelling

there are so many places you will never see if you were dead. if you've ever wanted to visit somewhere and are waiting until you're older or have more money, it's worth it.
8. to discover things

you might be the first person to discover something if you stay alive. i know it might seem like a stretch, but it could absolutely happen.
9. sunrises and sunsets

i know some people don't care for it, but the sunrise and sunset are so genuinely beautiful. if you stayed alive for even a day longer, you might see the most beautiful one yet.
10. holidays

holidays aren't my favourite, but they're a great way to recharge and recuperate from everything. if you aren't spending your holidays with the right people, it's worth it to stay alive so you can spend them right.
11. laughing so hard you lose your breath

if you don't stay alive, you might never find that joke that makes you laugh so hard. it's worth it to stay alive, just to find a moment in time where you can laugh and feel fine for the first time in a while.
12. rain

some people may not like it, but rain is such a nice thing to
look forward to. the sound, the smell it leaves afterwards. it's worth it to stay alive just to see the next rainfall.
13. getting a pet

some people don't like pets, but if you've ever wanted one you just have to survive long enough to find reason to live for them. pets depend on you, and they will mourn your loss greatly. to them, you are their world.
14. to fall asleep knowing that you've made it

knowing that all of your struggling wasn't in vain. to understand as you fall asleep that right now, you can safely say that you don't want to die anymore. to be proud of yourself for making it.
15. to say you're alive

to finally be able to admit that after all this time of battling your thoughts and urges to die, you've made it. you are alive, and you can wake up in the morning to another day.
i know this thread isn't the cure to suicide. you could have all the reasons in the world and still want to die. regardless, i want everyone who is reading this to know that i am here if you ever want to reach out and that you matter. you are never alone.
