it turns out that the earlier drawing of Michigan in black may not have been in error after all.
after checking with our on-the-ground reporters, it turns out that the majority of early ballots cast have voted to leave the US, not just politically but physically.

So far the top 4 locations voted for New Michigan are:
1. connected to the north coast of Brazil
2. Just hanging out with New Zealand
3. In the middle of Mongolia somehow?
4. Attached to Norway

Some people have pointed out that if Jeb Bush is on the map, his party should be listed as Jeb!, as that's how his party was run.
