9 months ago I would not have ever believed anyone if they told me that there would be a party (R or D) that stood for economic suppression, removal of choices for low-income & minorities, cancellation of our cultural norms and societal goods,

weaponizing a pandemic to push unrelated agendas, explicit fear-based messaging, holding children's education and future hostage, and turning public health into a war-time propaganda machine.

We are better than this. We can have opportunity, liberty, culture, AND safety.

2/

We've been offered a false trade-off.

Normality with liberty, opportunity and hope. The American Idea.

vs.

"New-normality" with intrusion, restriction, and surveillance in the name of "Safety"

3/

This is not the choice we face. The choice we face is whether or not we are going to continue to do what America has always done.

Overcoming adversity by creating MORE choices, not taking them away.

4/

Solving problems through our collective ingenuity and creativity- NOT by personifying the problem as our fellow man and casting blame and guilt.

And,

Governance through faithfulness to the legislative process, and protection of balance between branches of government.

5/

So the choice is this:

The equality, opportunity, and liberty that we NOW enjoy. Empowered by a self-governing people.

vs.

The "new" version of these things that we're being peddled, under the premise that our system in it's current state is broken, and must be remade.

We already have everything we need to restore justice, empower the powerless, ensure equality and opportunity for everyone in this country. They're called Civil Rights, and Civil Liberties.

7/

One party asks you to surrender these rights and liberties in order to trade for a "new normal" for America.

The other isn't dare touching them.

The choice was easy.
