"Goals win you games" [THREAD]

Players who score goals won't necessarily win you games. There is a process of getting into goalscoring situations that is as important. Usually having one goalscoring outlet is enough but not all teams play football the same. (1/10)
This is different for different systems. For example, at Liverpool wingers are the main goalscoring outlet. They aren't as effective without the system. Some teams don't have a system and just look to accomodate the best players to let them carry with their individual brilliance.
If this player does nothing there's a small chance you will win the game. Ronaldo is the best example of this type of football. He wins many games all by himself. If he doesnt score his team gets all the blame but they shouldnt. This is how they are forced to play with him (3/10)
There is a creator equivalent of these clutch goalscorers. One example is Bruno Fernandes. All attacks go through him and he will desperately try to create chances for his teammates. If he fails to do this United have had a bad game and Bruno is in the center of this (4/10)
A good system can make all the players look better than they are. This is why managers with systems bring more potential for improvement in a team. Pragmatic managers can only succeed with the quality of the players (5/10)
I think the best managers in the world can find a balance between a tactical system and letting the best players carry. This is why I rate Tuchel highly but a more familiar example for Chelsea fans would be Sarri. He let Hazard carry him while implementing his system (6/10)
How does this relate to the current Chelsea team? Havertz was the main goalscorer and even creator for a certain period at Leverkusen. His G/A stats show the results. Ziyech was the main creator at Ajax. Werner was the goalscorer at Leipzig though he benefitted from a system.
Havertz and Ziyech's numbers won't be the same because everything won't pass through just one player at Chelsea. Lampard might have wanted to combine multiple of these kind of players then bear extra fruit but I havent seen an example of this in history to predict the result.
Werner obviously benefitted from a system at Leipzig. Despite his bad performances at Chelsea he scored 5 goals in 10 games which is a trait of those clutch players I'm talking about. (9/10)
An interesting thing to note is that in smaller clubs with one star player where the team is built around that player their numbers can show them better than they really are. Grealish for example was statistically the 2nd best creator in Europe last season (10/10)
