Per @SharpFootball stats, when the #Colts have gone no-huddle, they have a 78.5% completion percentage and average 9.3 yards per attempt. From the huddle, they complete 65.2% of passes for an average of 7.5 yards per attempt.
When running the ball out of no-huddle, the #Colts have had a successful run percentage of 56% for 4.8 yards per carry. Running from the huddle, that success rate drops to 40% and just 3.4 yards per attempt.
Seems to me that once the #Colts hit the end of their scripted plays, it might be a good plan to throw the no-huddle offense in early in games, rather than waiting until they have to.
Another interesting nugget: the #Colts have a 42% success rate on 2nd down runs for a 3.5 ypc average. Compare that with a 54% success rate when passing on 2nd down, for an average of 8.4 ypa.
