So evidently there was a marathon wedding that took place in 4 cities over the course of a week that was attended by many senior bureaucrats & politicans. Now normally that wouldn't be anything important, however it's the sheer criminality of the dirtbag hosts that is compelling
me to share this story in public. The groom is the son of one Mr Arshid Ali Khan, an Additional DG in the Postal Service. Arshid, many of you may recall was one of the accused in the Billion Tree Tsunami corruption scam during the Khattak administration in KP. This case was
infamous because it directly led to the dismissal of one Ziaullah Toru the then DG of the KP ACE. He was removed from his position by Arshid's brother the then CS KP & megacrook Amjid Ali Khan. Arshid & Amjid's eldest brother Riaz Ali Khan a retired Custom's Service Official, was
former Secretary to the National Assembly. His personal vehicle collection was said to be the envy of the entire parliament. One can imagine how a sitting bureaucrat was able to affor that many expensive vehicles. But I am not here to talk about these brothers & how crooked they
are, but my anger is directed more towards Sofia Arshid Ali Khan, the daughter of former Federal Minister Nisar Mohammad Khan AKA Nisar Lala of Charsadda, sister to MPA Saeed, former District Nazim Naseer & current PTI MNA Fazal Mohammad. Why you may ask? Well as it turns out
this lady & her son (the groom) had tested positive (twice) for Covid19 & still went about hosting her son's marathan wedding in 4 cities over the course of 8 days. She never once informed the family of her son's newly contracted (no pun intended) in-laws or any of their guests.
I find this behavior absolutely criminal & am extremely angry that people are allowed to get away with actions such as this. I am certain there must have been tonnes of vulnerable & old people that may have attended the wedding. My final words on this story are,that please do not
attend weddings & if you plan on hosting one during the midst of this pandemic, cancel it. There's been a immense rise in the number of covid19 cases in Pakistan & despite that there are absolutely no precautions being taken. Neither by the govt, & most certainly not the public.
