@UnclePetunio Imagine if X-Men gave you the best every story pitch and completely delivered on it. That's what this match was. To this day, like over 20 years later a decent amount of people consider it the best PPV match ever
(If I take a bit, it's also cos I'm making sure the matches are free on youtube since I don't want to give a suggestion behind a paywall)
@AjeyPandey If there's ever a match I've never heard anyone say a single bad thing about, it's the first one here: Samoa Joe vs Kenta Kobashi. It has no commentary was because the promotion wanted to simulate exactly the atmosphere of the live crowd
@geneticghost This is honeslty in my opinion the best David Vs Goliath match I've seen. It's such a master in storytelling as Jonathan Greshem tries to overcome the bigger Chris Hero.
@PKiemel3 This match is what put TNA on the map. I remember when my friend and me were joking about how cheesy TNA could be, he wanted us to watch this to show how they could bring it too
@magicalgirlkyra This match and it's story was the first one I discussed with a guest on my upcoming podcast. And boy did it deserve the first episode spot. It's just so good I can't give it words to justify.

@tucker13x Fun fact: This was the first PPV I stayed up all night for when returning to pro wrestling fandom. The PPV's start at 1AM in Ireland. And yet I was still hyped throughout the whole thing
@AFractalDragon This is still, to this day, one of my favorite matches. It's an amazing display of storytelling cues from past matches and amazing in-ring moves.
@CDGuanzon While one of the people in this match has IRL dumbass COVID-truther takes, it's easily one of the best displays of tag team wrestling and how awesome it can be.
@CritSuccess_ Up front, I've only seen their indie & PPV matches. But Dijakovic and Keith Lee bring it everytime they're in the ring together. And I doubt this time is any different
@DarrMakesGames This is probably one of the most intense matches I've seen. There's no commentary. Just the crowd, the pyschology between the two in the ring & the sound of moves hitting the mat.
@GhilTheTiefling This was one of my favorite fatal four-way matches. It was just an all-round phenomenal match and great showcase of each women within it.
@zlothemeek Speaking of awesome women's fatal four ways, this was the first PPV match to contain all of the Four Horsewomen. It's probably one of the biggest matches in history of WWE at large

@Mivtachyahu All honesty, I haven't seen this match. But I'm planning to rectify that very soon cos I have yet to see a Mikey Bailey or WALTER match that I didn't enjoy.
@NamesEquipped This is still one of my top 5 NXT matches. And I have a LOT of NXT matches I love. It's an awesome combo of charisma, high-flying & striking.

@NoaWritePlay This was part of the Discovery Gauntlnet, which is basically spotlighting indie wreslters. And this particular match had two of the best indie wreslters on the scene today in AJ Grey & Tony Deppen.
@Lexi_UNDEFINED This is probably one of the most underrated matches for where it was placed in the card. Presently, both teams are considered in the contention for greatest of the modern era. And matches like this are why

@DecroLovesGirls This match, while never getting super attention, is one that's super well remembered by me. Beyond was the promotion that got me back in love with indie wrestling along with BLP. And matches like this are why
@Glides I don't usually keep up with weekly shows. But matches like this damn sure make me think I should.
@Rathayibacter Real talk: I was not aware this match was for free on youtube and it honestly made me smile cos me and a friend watched this live at 3 AM and we're having a ball the whole time
@KatSelesnya Smackdown was considered in it's modern peak around this year and weekly matches like this one are why. It's a great combination of what a triple threat should be
@miguel_classico While the ending result was eventually rendered null, this match was just such a great rollarcoaster of a bout along with a pretty surprising ending!
@Alek_Kazam I'm sharing another Riptide match cos they are probably in my top 3 promotions and constantly deliver on entertainment
@TimeOfTribes This is, according to quite a many critics, the best match in NXT history if you're going by star ratings. I still need to catch it but I may just do that tonight
@remspeedwagon I just realized this match is free on youtube and am definitely gonna catch it after dinner. Easily the two top talents of NXT today
