There are lots of things to consider before you vote today. When I voted I thought of Heather Heyer who cannot vote this year, as she was killed by a Neo Nazi in Charlottesville; 1/
People in San Antonio, TX and other cities across the country who lined up in record numbers outside of food banks after tens of millions lost their jobs; 2/
The government being “unable” to locate the parents of 545 children who are locked in cages at our border; 3/
23 families in El Paso who mourn their loved ones after they were brutally attacked by a terrorist inspired by Trump as is made clear in his manifesto and the rise of right wing terrorism; 4/
The 231,000+ Americans who are dead today because this president mishandled the pandemic and politicized science; 5/
Donald Trump ditching our allies to befriend dictators and ruin our standing on the world stage; 6/
Ordering gestapoesque federal agents into so-called “blue cities” to kidnap peaceful protesters using unmarked vehicles before clearing out a peaceful demonstration in Lafayette Square for a photo op in front of St. John’s Episcopal Church— gassing a Priest in the process. 7/
Donald Trump at his core is un-American. He holds no value over our democratic process or the institutions that have keep the republic alive for 244 years. He and those who enable him pose the greatest threat to our generation and to democracy. 8/
I hope you will vote for the promise of America. I ask that you vote for Joe Biden and democrats all the way down the ballot. Stray from violence and hatred. Ignore the noise. Just vote.
