What you may not have heard is that he is (and was before Covid) VP of Growth for a company called Course Hero. And guess what? Course Hero is an online learning platform. Exactly the sort of company that would benefit massively from a lockdown.

Gotta say, Pueyo's marketing strategy succeeded brilliantly for him and his company. Didn't work out so well for the rest of us, but that's what we get for being suckers.

If you were naive you might think that this is the sort of thing the NYT would turn its attention to. Instead gave him space to do a big column of his own in September, with no mention of the massive conflict of interest.
