ELECTION DAY IS UNDERWAY. The MOVE Team is here to break it all down with everything that you need to know to be a voter!
Today is your last chance to vote. It is so important that your voice is heard! Of course, don’t forget to practice safety measures to the best of your ability! And whatever you do, make sure to stay in line. Polls are open from 7a.m.-7:00 p.m.
If you have a mail-in ballot make sure to drop that off at the drop off location in your county by TODAY.
You don’t need much to vote, there’s a few things we suggest you keep handy. First, don’t forget to bring your ID or any of the seven alternatives which you can find at http://MOVETexas.org/vote . Wear a mask and gloves, bring hand sanitizer, your own pen, and keep your distance!
Voting should be easy. When it’s not call the election protection hotline.

Make sure you know your ballot! This election is important, but not just for the obvious reason. Filling out an informed ballot from top to bottom is key to helping issues that impact your community directly.
You can’t bring your phone to vote, so write out your ballot and take it in for reference. No shame, it’s a lot to remember and some ballots are longer than others! You can find out who’s on your ballot and compare candidates at http://movetexas.org/vote
you can find other important voting information at http://movetexas.org/survivalguide
As we near 7 p.m. poll closing, keep in mind that Election Day is NOT results day. These results may take longer due to the several avenues used this year to vote. Democracy takes time and we need every vote to count!
If you are in line by 7pm STAY IN LINE, you have every right to vote. Your vote and your voice are worth the wait.
Keep this thread of information handy and keep checking back in with us for more information. Happy Voting, y’all.
