I knew the @WestYorksPolice we’re using FPN to stop women speaking in Leeds. They took my details and said that I was fined £100 under covid regs. The FPN has never materialised. So,to all the people who criticised me for going and not wearing a mask and putting public safety in jeopardy, you can eat your words please! My scarf fell down when unlawful force was used against me, to prevent me from sitting down, as I was unwell and I couldn’t breathe.

The police, instructed by Ps Kirwan, set out to ruin the Standing For Women POLITICAL event, silence women and harass/intimidate the organisers. WYpolice abused the covid regs, not us!

Since that abuse of police powers, I have sought medical advice and I’m being treated for copd, because of my symptoms of not being able to breath, which were highlighted by mask-wearing. Solidarity with ALL the women targeted by @WestYorksPolice at the Standing For Women event.

The officer investigating my complaint told me that a decision had been made at divisional level, not to pursue fining the women. We want to know who made that decision and why.
