Dismissing remote work altogether in 2020s would be analogous to dismissing cloud in 2010s.
Imagine what would have happened to Microsoft or Adobe if they were still shipping software on DVDs.

Even if you get talented people to work for you, retaining them will be huge problem

Most amazing digital products are being made with remote collaboration in mind
So you would either:
be using software that's outdated OR
collaborating like in remote but sitting inside an office
